⚠ Windows SmartScreen warning is normal

Touge is not yet code-signed (Microsoft Trusted Signing costs $9.99/mo, we'll add it once we have paying users). When you run the installer:

  1. Click "More info" on the blue SmartScreen popup
  2. Click "Run anyway"
  3. Installer runs normally

You only need to do this once per release.

What the installer does

  • Installs the Touge background app to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Touge\
  • Adds itself to startup (you can disable this anytime)
  • Creates ~/Documents/LapCoach/laps/ for local lap backups
  • Reads iRacing telemetry via the official SHM SDK (read-only — never writes to iRacing)
  • Uploads anonymous lap JSON to xldragon.com (you can opt out)
